This dice is designed to hold 5mm LEDs inside the dice points that light up when the side they are on is facing up. Inside the dice is a chamber that holds a 10mm steel ball which acts as a contact for blank wires on the side of the chamber. Wired correctly this acts as an orientation sensor.

The inner chamber is constructed out of two identical parts, so you need two prints of that part. Place a steel ball inside and run blank wires through the holes so that the steel ball makes an electric connection between two wires when resting inside one of the corners.

The steel ball chamber is supported by four clamps so you need to print four of that part. The steel ball chamber is already updated, the photos still show an earlier version, it was very hard to get the chamber aligned in the dice so I designed a groove for the clamps that hold them in place.

Make sure that the contacts in each corner work before gluing the chamber together and placing it inside the dice!
