I wanted a light system that did not require me to tape, glue, or drill. Plus I wanted something that would not give out and fall down over time. So I had a idea of using clips to connect to the glass. I did not see anything similar on thingiverse. So I decided to make my first make.
The center middle piece (led center bar v4.stl) I did use double side 3m tape to attach. If it does give out the clips on both sides will prevent it from falling.
The clips fits perfectly on a .225in (5mm) thick plexiglass. Can upload different sizes if anyone used thinner glass for their enclosure. It should work if you have thinner glass since the top of the enclosure will hold it in place.
The railing is to prevent any gaps the clips might create and makes a nice look. Plus hides any blemish cutting the glass might of caused.
The complete set that I used are - 12 LED Clips, 12 railings, and 2 center led bar holder.
I used LED 3528 purchased from amazon.
