LED mounts for Wanhao i3 / other frames?

These mounts clamp on the aluminium frame of the Wanhao i3 (Plus in my case) and house standard 5mm LEDs. The connections are hidden behind a cover which clicks neatly in place. A similar mount for a round DC jack is included.

I connected all the pieces using Dupont connectors and some ribbon cable. The LEDs I use are white 3V, each set of 4 in series to run off a 12V power supply. I've added a 10 ohm resistor to each set.


All the dimensions are in variables so it should be easy to change for example the clamp to match an acrylic frame. The amount of LEDs and where they point are in a vector as well.


Update: I've added a mount for the top to house another 4 LEDs. It doesn't add much to the visibility on the build plate itself, but looks good nonetheless. I also rotated all the parts to their preferred printing orientation.
