LED Strip Mount

This is a mount I designed to mount some led strips I had to my printer. I had previously used the strips so the glue that comes on them was worn off and no longer sticky, so I designed this mount to work with aluminum extrusions. I also didn't want to look at the naked leds so I designed and tested different diffuser thicknesses and materials. I designed this with the 12mm wide led strips in mind, but you might be able to make it work with thinner versions. The holes are sized for M5 button head screws but as long as the screw head doesn't push the led strip out you could use a different type or smaller size of screw(with a washer). I wanted the mounting screws to be hidden and the strip to be easy to insert so the model is printed in three pieces. This also allows you to print the diffuser in a different material or color if you choose.
