This model represents the bones of the left foot and ankle generated from a computed tomography scan. It is life size so it fits better on a printer like the A1. Each bone is clearly distinguishable including sesamoid bones--I added just enough connections so the whole thing would print in one piece. My changes to the original:Original model was made available on the NIH3D Print Exchange by user MySegmenter under CCBY license. I separated the bones of the left foot and leg from their full skeleton model, remeshed the bones to optimize them for printing, added connections where needed to print in one piece, and cut the tibia and fibula around the distal ⅓.
