This model is a recreaton of the Gewehr 43 that you can use for your minigures. The Gewehr 43 was a German semi-automatic rifle developed during World War II and introduced in 1943 as an improvement over the earlier G41 model. It was designed to give infantry a higher rate of fire using a gas-operated system, and it saw limited but notable use on the Eastern and Western Fronts.
