If you have older mini figures there's a good chance that the feet of the figure may crack when placed on regular studs. I tried the T shaped piece that some people recommend but the center section of the T is wider than the gap between the legs. I ended up cracking a figure using those T shaped pieces and decided there had to be a better way to mount figures without risking foot cracks. I came up with stands that avoid cracking the feet by using posts that insert into the legs and avoiding putting any pressure on the feet itself.

I have around 700 mini figures currently mounted on these stands. There are 3 different sets of legs that I've created stands for. There is the standard "tall" mini figure and there is the "short" mini figure. The “short” version is for short mini-figures that don't have bending legs. The "short new version" is for those that have a bending leg. They occupy a standard 1x2 stud area.

I hope these work for others to avoid hearing the dreaded foot crack
