I recently purchased 2 Lemon-RX receivers with diversity antennas, a satellite port and fail safe. The only problem with these receivers is that they come ‘bare’ with some sort of wrapping that is supposed to go over them. I have never seen the proper installation of this for of protection and I have never had much luck keeping it on the receiver. I have tried using heat shrink but I have never been happy with this either. I got out my calipers and decided to make a case for the receiver via 3D printing.
To make life easier on myself I decided to make a part that by simple mirroring can be used for both a left hand and right hand detail. This meant that the holes for the binding LED and failsafe button would appear in both halves. The receiver is supported at the pin end by enclosing the pin support board and the remainder of the board rests on upper and lower rails. I simply install the receiver in the halves and use a small amount of Gorilla Glue to glue the haves togethe
