I have a LNT "Lever Pull" corkscrew wine opener. It is similar, if not identical to those sold under the Rabbit, Houdini, Costco, and other brands. It is the type that has a corkscrew with a flathead screw on the top of the corkscrew.
Two parts tend to wear out on these openers: the corkscrew and the corkscrew guide. You can get replacement corkscrews on Amazon and they will fit almost any lever pull opener. However, it is nearly impossible to find a replacement guide, and these often wear badly, especially if the corkscrew bends and flexes when trying to get through synthetic "corks."
This part is a near-perfect replacement. All you need to do is:
1. Remove the corkscrew by unscrewing the cap that holds it in place, and then twist it upwards until it is removed.
2. Tap out the pin that holds in the guide part. I have a small punch set and the smallest size works perfectly.
3. Drop the new guide in place and do the last two steps in reverse order.
