LFX Engine Mounts

Passenger and driver side engine mounts for a GM LFX 3.6L v6 engine. Each side is constructed of two pieces that are welded together. DXF files are attached so a cutting/bending service can cut and bend the flat patterns for you. This is designed for 3/16" steel.

All bends are 90 degrees with exception to the LH base which is a 40 degree bend. Flat patterns have several pilot holes that must be drilled out to 10.5mm after bending as to-size holes are too close to the bends and will get distorted otherwise.

Mounts are positioned such that they're approximately 435mm center to center and designed to use a SBC short style isolator. Specifically these were designed for the Energy Suspension 3.1114G mounts.

There are some compromises in the design that were due to my own packaging constraints. Some of the bolts require a universal joint for the a socket to reach. Another bolt can only be accessed using a wrench. Finally the driver's side mount much be removed to remove the engine s
