Keep the electric contacts of your camera or mobile phone Li-ion battery protected against short circuits while not inserted into the device.

Update 1 November 2020: Added labeling. Added curved slot ends to relieve mechanical stress on latch. A 60 degree rounding angle may be enough, but you have the option to increase the angle for ornamentation.

Easily adaptable to any battery size via parameters in the included OpenSCAD source file. I include a tested .stl file for Nikon EN-EL14, Samsung S5 and Samsung Note 4 batteries.

Insert the battery contacts-first. A latch locks the battery in place.
