I made my son the lithophane night light cube and put a light of course for him in it. I didn't realize that the switch was not only farther down the cord so it laid on the floor but also curved which made it hard to attach to the dresser by his bed so he could turn it on and off without getting up. I am using the adhesive I originally had on the dresser to hold it before I realized it was a curved back and being that its flat it's still holding strong! Very easy to reach over and turn it on or off. The so-called dresser/cabinet is heavy plastic, so I didn't want to drill holes to hold it on, so I made it with a flat back, holds the cord and easy to attach and use. No supports needed.
