My name is Colin Kenney, I’m a senior at Polson High School in Montana; my supervising instructor is Mr. Paskey. I came up with my design for a new light switch cover after walking by my one in my house that’s right next to the door that goes into the garage. I have a problem of leaving my car keys somewhere I can’t find when them, this is a re-occurring thing for me and probably most people. I also have a problem misplacing my wallet too, which is not a good thing because it has my money and driver’s license in it which I need to legally drive my truck. I came up with a solution to re-invent the boring old one purpose light switch cover, with a new one that actually serves a new purpose. It holds keys and a wallet or phone plus it still does the job as a normal light switch cover too. This design and end product has seen the end of my lost keys and wallet problem for good. When printing I recommend a 10% infill, ABS or PLA plastic with a FDM printer. This design will print in a 10"x10"x10" printer.
