I designed this Myself using an old piece of software I gad from when I was at school. fingers crossed its all OK (worked fine with Cura 2.7)
It Makes use of APA102 programmable LEDs driven from a PICAXE processor. I used a 52 LEDs from 60 LED per metre strip, 26 in the base and 26 in the top.
I am aware that the battery box and cover need some work to make them printing easier.
If you choose to use the light diffusers you could print them in theory in which ever colour you like. however this will alter the colour of the LEDs. I chose to print them in white to avoid this. You may choose not to use them at all.
The slots for the glass where designed at 2mm wide, but my printer printed them a little under that. I used thin Picture glass that was around 1.7mm thick which was obtained from cheap picture frames from a local store.
