Lightspire Cathedral

Lightspire Cathedral Lightspire Cathedral is my futuristic reinterpretation of the monumental cathedral concept, inspired by the fabulous design of Brasília’s Cathedral by Oscar Niemeyer but taken to another level, with a more fluid geometry, renewed symbolism, and a strong futuristic essence. The structure is defined by elegant curved ribs that rise upwards as if seeking the sky. Its white finish conveys purity and modernity, while the pointed silver cross at the spire symbolizes the timeless connection between earth and heaven. A key feature of this model is its hollow interior, designed to hold an LED or electric candle. When illuminated, the cathedral plays with transparencies on the façade and the openings at the top and bottom, creating a magical, ever-changing light effect. These chosen colors aim to transmit harmony, serenity, and timelessness, but I encourage other Makers to experiment with different combinations so that originality and imagination can flow freely.This project
