PLA handle with TPU blade (recommended). Honestly could be printed with whatever material, but I reccomend at least TPU for the blade. Made a couple of these for my nieces last Christmas. Felt my brother's kids were getting to the age where it was really important to teach them how to hit (they're four). I also felt it was really important to annoy my brother by gifting his toddlers flexy weapons. The TPU worked great with low infill and a couple walls. Pretty flexible. PLA's fine for the handle. The TPU blade is a full tang all the way through the handle, and everything important is printed in the XY orientation, so this is a very strong weapon (which my brother and his wife were totally thrilled over). The handle does require supports, but it's all internal, so no sanding or real cleanup. Pinch the blade between the two handles and glue it together. Painter's tape works really well to keep it clamped until dry. Nibblings love em. Siblings hate em. Honestly it's the perfect Christmas gift. In fact, these weapons went over so well with the kiddos last year, this year I think I'll make em nunchucks.
