If it's not possible to use a servo under the turnout then this might be a solution.
A cheap linear servo, mostly used in RC planes, is small and strong.
Often comes in 2 versions, left or right.
Can use both.
I bought a screw assortment for repairing glasses on Ebay.
Doesn't cost much and there is a lot of small screws.
I recommend support.
