Lithophane Light box

Lithophane Light Box Summary:

This project features a custom 3D-printed enclosure designed to hold a 100mm x 100mm lithophane panel. The enclosure is angled 5° backward for display and stability, with 30° feet flush to the base.

A repurposed Bambu Lab LED light (5VDC USB-powered) provides backlighting. To ensure uniform illumination, the LED is placed at an optimized distance from the lithophane to minimize hotspots. The maintained switch is housed in a compact rear enclosure, designed to save space while replicating the original button housing.

Lithophanes are generated using the Lithophane Maker tool, with customizable parameters (thickness, frame, stand, and layer height). The enclosure allows interchangeable lithophane panels, enabling users to swap images as desired.
