FDM parts I modeled for adding a 2nd Z-axis leadscrew to my Longer LK5 Pro printer. It is driven by a GT2 belt loop synced to the original leadscrew, rather than using an additional stepper motor. Has been on the machine for over 1000 hours of printing with zero problems.
All parts were printed using PLA material.
Adding the sprocket at the top of the original leadscrew requires mounting the bearing slightly lower, so one of the files is a low-profile pillow block. You'll need to print a mirrored copy for the other tower.
The only down-side is a slight loss of Z axis build height (about 10mm decrease).
The BeltGuard is modeled with some thin tabs for improved bed adhesion - no supports required for printing.
Belt is 848mm closed loop.
848-2GT-6 Timing Belt in Closed Loop Rubber L=848mm W=6mm 424 Teeth
Axis sprockets are 40 tooth, 8mm bore.
Tensioner uses one 20 tooth sprockets and two 16 tooth (that's just the size) smooth/toothless idlers. All these are 3mm bore.
