I want to build an articulating lamp and found Loc-Line light mount, a remix of 3-4 LocLine, but the base didn't work for me. So I fired up OpenSCAD and created a quick base that will be held by 4 screws and has a through hole down the middle. I strengthened it by adding material on the inside. The 3mf has 3 plates. Plate 1 ("Lotsa Links"): I wanted.. a lot.Plate 2 ("Base - OK"): Basic orientation for the base, it'll work but if you have enough load it may snap.Plate 3 ("Base - Strong"): Oriented differently and printed with support, it should take more stress.I recommend printing Plate 1 with the subset of links you want and Plate 3. Orient the base so the stress will fall perpendicular to the layer lines. Of course, the stress in the loc-line parts will be straight across each link so.. ymmv!
