I liked this knife design, but the original knife blade was way too loose.
I remixed this with several improvements.
* Redesigned the frame to print on its back, with supports. This meant increasing the gap for the lock to frame, so there is sufficient room for supports to be properly added.
* Redesigned the pin, so a threaded shoulder pin is used. This makes assembly much easier and the blades can be swapped out in seconds, with a screwdriver.
* Added a lanyard hole.
* Strengthened the frame.
* Lengthened the frame lock arm to improve the locking mechanics and increased the size of the unlocking nub.
* Lengthened the back of the blade to improve the locking mechanics.
I also designed some new blades to use for educating my local Beaver and Cub scouts in proper knife use. These **blunt blades** are also slightly easier to print.
To make this knife, print:
1x **Frame.stl**
1x **Pin.stl**
You will need to *print two copies of the blade* of your choice. **One copy
