This multi-part item is a 3D printable birdhouse. My submission for the Birdhouse Challenge competition.
This standard model has a total of 62 individual parts (11 unique models), is assembled by hand and held together with garden wire or similar. For assembly instructions, download the .pdf file with the parts.
If printed at 100% scale, the walls measure 150mm in length. The base is larger having a dimension of 170mm square. The height of the completed birdhouse measures 150mm from base to tip, although the height can be increased by printing extra "Log" pieces. To raise the height by 3.5mm increments, print 2 extra logs for each increment (Each log is 7mm high and the half height foundation pieces can be placed at the front or side). There should always be an odd number of log pieces. By doing this the user can increase the height of the entrance from the floor, or the height of the roof in relation to the entrance, or both!
The entrance is 30mm in diameter when printed at 1
