I recently purchased a Logitech MX Ergo to replace my ever-favoured Logitech M570 trackball mouse. I didn't have to, but I wanted to ;)

The new mouse is great, and perfect for my work though it is quite a bit heavier and more aimed at user who are sitting at a desk whereas the M570 was quite light and was very easy to cart around. The MX Ergo has a strange base design where which a metal plate is held to the base of the mouse using magnets. The base allows the user to rock from one position to the other, and the metal plate can be removed simply by pulling it away. See the previous Logitech page for details.
