Long Nose Pliers

Here is a design for a light duties long nose pair of pliers where electrical isolation is most important. The pliers are intending for holding wire or parts. Common pliers squeezing or crushing tasks are unsuitable for these pliers. These pliers do no include grip serrations to keep them smooth. I've provided two print versions of the pliers. One version relies on a brim to keep the plier points from curling/lifting during the print. The brim works, but introduces some post processing to cleanly remove the brim from the parts. A second approach incorporates round pads at the plier tips, so no brim required. Post processing still required to remove the round pads, but a simpler step. My print is made in Bambu Lab PLA Tough Gray filament, with 0.2mm layer height and 25% infill on a Bambu Lab X1 Carbon printer. Print supports are required.
