I printed using PLA TOUGH. See setting details.
Finally got around to design my longest road trophy. This print took about 16 hours in total. It's fairly large but I wanted to make a big trophy so that you really feel like you've won something ;)
Tips on print settings:
I printed using PLA TOUGH: I did not dry it prior to print.
1. I used Ultimaker Cura Slicer (settings listed below)
2. Layer Height: .14mm (basically your main quality setting)
3. Line Width: .4mm
4. Wall Line Count: 4
5. Top/Bottom Layers: 6 (like I said, I wanted it to be heavy)
6. Enable Ironing: On (I wanted the terrian to be smooth)
7. Infill: 40%
a) Infill Line Distance: 3.0mm
b) Infill Pattern: Cubic
8. Printing Temp: 215 C
9. Build Plate Temp: 60 C
10. Initial Layer Build Plate Temp: 63 C
11. Enable Retraction: On
12. Reaction Retract Speed: 35.0 mm/s
13. Travel Speed: 90.0 mm/s
a) Once the first 4 layers were printed on my Ender 3 V2, I increased the speed to
150%.
