Lorien from Babylon 5

Lorien was an enigmatic being. He lived deep beyond the surface of Z'ha'dum. He was the oldest being in the galaxy and the first the gain sentience. He watched over the development of the First Ones, such as Shadows and Vorlons. Lorien's presence is why the Shadows returned to Z'ha'dum following their defeats in recurring Shadow Wars. Lorien saved Captain John Sheridan in 2260 and again after the battle against Vorlon ambassador Ulkesh. At that time he gave Sheridan a new but limited life force. At the end of the last Shadow War Lorien travelled beyond the Rim of the galaxy alongside Vorlons and Shadows.

Lorien is one of the very first races, Speakers. Information on the Speakers is outlined in Mongoose book "Darkness & Lights". Lorien was the last one of his race to remain in this part of galaxy. The tombs of other members of his race are on
