Loving Depression

I had a past rough year and losing a best friend has been tough to deal with. I came across a littl doodle on FB (all credit to the artist, I'm sorry I lost the name.) and wanted to bring it to life in my way and show that even though depression sucks it can be loved whtile we move on. “Loving Depression” is a quiet tribute to resilience — a small figure with a large story to tell. With its smooth, minimalist form and oversized, expressive eyes, the character stands gently grounded, holding together the pieces of a broken heart. Though the heart is fractured, it is not discarded. It is cradled, protected, and honored. A small figure. A broken heart. An unbroken spirit.
