Low cost design for 3d printer enclosure.
It is made up of a base, preferably made of 3mm wood.
The 4 corners of the base are screwed onto it.
8mm diameter wooden rods are required.
The 8 corners are assembled with the wooden rods.
4 mm thick corrugated cardboard is required.
The cardboard panels are fitted together. Note the cable, handling and viewing holes on your machine. In my case I placed a piece of transparent plastic on the window.
Plastic corner pieces are required.
The corner pieces are fitted in quantities and lengths according to your enclosure. This gives you more insulation and gives you structure.
Notes: This design is intended to make some impressions for which enclosure is required. I do not recommend prolonged use of this type of enclosure as it could damage the electrical circuits. This is why in closed printers the electrical components are isolated.
