An example of freewheel merchanism.I designed this to fix the problem at Retracting Spool Holder model. But it can also be used in other places. This model allows you to add a real bearing ball (8x3mm), but you can print it or use any ball with a size of 2~3mm. In fact, I used a silica ball for my retraction box and it works very well. You can use a 687zz bearing ball at the top part (next to the screw head), but you can also use my washer without the 687zz bearing ball. If you use a bearing ball, the friction will be reduced a bit and you can tighten the screw. Without a bearing ball, you can control friction by changing how tightly you screw. Too low friction can make it hard to control the extract rotation of the second gear (when you stop rotating, the gear won’t stop).Bill of Materials1x M3 standard heat set insert 1x Panhead M3 5mm~8mm (Without 687zz bearing ball) or M3x10mm (with 687zz bearing ball)8x 3mm bearing balls (printable) https://ja.aliexpress.com/item/1005004091669583.h
