I wanted a low friction spool holder. I didnt want a 3d printed spool arm as I was worried that this may fail under a 1kg spool, so I wanted to use the exisiting bambu spool arm. So I came up with this idea that used 6705zz bearings. This brought down the print time in comparison to the other options out there and also meant that the spool did'nt interfere with the PTFE arm. This solution is perfect for printing with TPU, but can be used for any spool of filament. Bearings: I used these bearings, but any 6705zz bearing should work. Assembly Instructions: There are two pauses in the print. This is to allow placing of the 6705 bearings. A dab of glue or a bit of blue tack may be required to hold down the bearings whilst printing (to avoid them toppling whilst printing) although I printed it succesfully without. 2. It is then a case of unscrewing the spool arm and sliding this part onto it. It is a tight fit so any burrs may need to be removed with a sharp knife or de-burring tool. 3.
