Lowa battleship

The Iowa-class battleships were a series of powerful and fast warships built for the United States Navy during World War II. These battleships combined heavy firepower with high speed and advanced technology for their time. A total of six ships were planned, but only four were completed: USS Iowa (BB-61), USS New Jersey (BB-62), USS Missouri (BB-63), and USS Wisconsin (BB-64).The ships were about 270 meters (887 feet) long and armed with nine 406 mm (16-inch) guns mounted in three triple turrets.
