When looking for LED-Dimmers that are cheap, work on a variety of voltages, have gamma-correction, and enough brightness steps … The AliExpress/BangGood/GearBest manufacturer LTech and their D61-series dimmers usually turn up. They are cheap and work reasonably well.

They are made to be installed in a wall though — but I wanted a table-stand to connect my bed-light to. I use a very diffuse LED bar at the top-end of my bed, with 2 separate LED-line sections for each inhabitant.

So i made this Stand, which fits the disassembled LTech D61 snugly and nicely, with the click not rocking the PCB, and the sides held by the round~ish tabs enough so you don’t rotate the PCB when rotating.

To disassemble the D61, simply unscrew the screws at the back, then carefully pry off the glass plate in multiple steps. Peel away the residual black tape on the glass, but leave on the thin layer of transparent double-sided-tape. Pull the top PCB from the bottom-PCB, and next unscrew the bottom PCB. T
