I just got my LTT Scribedriver mechanical pencil the other day and was inspired to make a case for both the pen and pencil. The hinges are held together using a piece of filament. The case is held closed by four 6x2mm magnets and features a lip in the middle for easy opening. Depending on the filament you're using you may need to use a 2mm drill bit to drill out the holes a bit. I recommend trying to insert the filament before you drill otherwise you might make it too loose. To secure the magnets, use a tiny bit of super glue. Don't overdo it, a little goes a long way.
