I have updated the trainer to make a more robust stand and a pin to hold the spine in place. The updated files are marked V2
This is a trainer for learning how to place epidural catheters in the anesthesia filed of medicine. The lumbar spine is in 2 pieces that are then glued together. The Interspinous ligament mold is used to fashion a dense interspinous ligament out of 'mold' silcone. Once cured, the paraspinous tissue mold is used to crease a much less dens tissue mass out of low density 'skin' silicone. The resulting mold can be placed in the stand and clamped to a table for stability. I used PLA throughout with minimal infill except for the stand, PLA tough with 35% infill worked fine.
