Lynx - BD Seat Riser

2024-02-25: Due to the outward shape of the front of the seat I noticed that raising the seat by 3cm those parts started hitting the inside of my knees which from my own experience will lead to knee pain over time. So I've created and uploaded a 2cm riser as well to try to combat that.

A riser for the Lynx BD Seat which makes the seat higher.

The BD seat for the Lynx is pretty popular and many riders have this seat for their Lynx, however I felt that this seat on the Lynx made me sit a bit too low which for me personally can be a cause of back-ache so I designed this riser to raise it up by 3cm. A 2cm version is now also available.

This riser is printed in two parts (front and rear) that interlink with each-other, I made it two parts due to the size making it more practical to print and lowering the requirement on printer size.

To install this seat you need to replace the 5 screws that hold the seat onto the metal part for longer screws, take one of the original screws out
