If you buy a Harbor Freight US General toolbox for home use, the locks are an unnecessary inconvenience. I made a short video on how to remove the keyed lid lock and the rear drawer locks on my US General 5-Drawer mechanics cart (70698), you can watch it here:

It's easier to use now that I don't need to have the lid open in order to open the drawers. This also frees up some space under the lid but leaves you with some holes. So, I designed plugs for a cleaner look and also to prevent tools from falling into the rear holes. These will also work for the US General 4-Drawer tech cart (59572) and I would assume for any other US General toolbox as well.
I printed in PLA with 100% infill, no supports needed. The PLA was pretty stiff so I used a heat gun (a blow dryer would work too) to warm 'em up a bit and make it easier to pop 'em into place. Printing with PETG or TPU would add a little flexibility and possibly negate the need to warm 'em up to install. I al
