Mac mini M4 Rack Mount

The ‌Mac mini‌ M4 looks dramatically different to previous models thanks to a markedly smaller enclosure and two front USB-C ports. This significant change in its enclosure, of course, required a new rack mounting solution.

Taking into account its dimensions, the solution had to occupy two physical units of standard 19" racks.
The design is symmetric, and therefore the element can be equally mounted on left or right mounting rail of cabinet.
Installation of Mac mini in the rack is very easy and it's based on insertion by simply pushing inside. Removal is carried out by slight pushing in the opposite direction and pulling it out.

The unusual placement of Mac mini's power button is a little drawback, but the button can be accessed with no issues as the model is narrowing down in the back which gives some clearance between the adjacent physical units. If necessary, Mac mini can always be pushed out slightly in order to reach the button easier.
