This is a support to hold a LED in the front of a **Märklin** 3000 Locomotive.
To use this, remove the existing lightbulb socket, thread the hole below (2.5mm), and find a matching screw, the part should fit snuggly – file the sides as needed and insert the LED. This has the advantage of insulating the LED from the ground, so it can be lit with no blinking.
This should also work for other locomotives with a similar light support, like the Märklin 3031.
