Magclip

This is a clip for grip attachment to 4mm diameter rods. It has a recess that holds a 9mm diameter magnet which can be about 2.5mm thick. Meant for a tight press fit so that the magnet does not fall out. Printed ok in PETG with 0.2mm layers.


Used this for DIY magnetic door latch for my shoe rack which has rack and door frames made of 4 mm diameter rods (see gif video). Works very well. May be adapted for other purposes e.g. cable clips that attach to metal surfaces, etc.
