Magic Band Reader (Remix)

I got frustrated with gluing the back shell parts together, and my OCD took over.

I cut the front hole with FoolishMortal's outer ring. It all seems to fit.

2x20mm screws are a good fit,


I simplified the electronics, with an Arduino nano for the controller, and a capacitive touch sensor instead of an RFID reader. Also used a MP3 player module to handle the sound effects.
