Magic the Gathering Planeswalker coasters. These utilize cork on both sides of the coaster, one side for no slip, the other for no drip. To assemble, just put the pre-cut cork circle into the coaster base, then glue the planeswalker symbol and “webbing” on top. Easy peasy. To get the burnt look like the photo, I simply quickly waved a lighter on the cork piece fast enough to not burn it - I shouldn't have to say this, but do this at your own risk.
