To separate the magnet easily without hurting your fingers and also combine them safely. Can separate small to medium sized magnet, but if the magnet is too thin, it maybe difficult to use.

To assembly it, you may need a pair of wrenches or pliers. The head of the screw and nuts is 20mm. Tighten the screw until it just moves freely.
