Magnetic Clasp for Straps

A magnetic strap clasp and keeper to hold the ends of the strap together without tying. The magnets keep the clasp closed and the pins/holes keeps the clasp from sliding apart. I use this on my workshop and kitchen aprons to hold the ends together, as shown in the photo. I wanted something minimalist and small but could not find anything I liked in other designs. My design uses identical parts for both ends of the strap. The published model is for a 20mm x 0.5mm (wide x thick) strap. Magnet is 6mm dia x 1.5mm. The Autodesk Fusion model is included so you can adjust this to suit your needs/sizes. Just edit the parameters for the model and it should adjust with no editing. Boost MeHi there!
