Tired of my compressor accessories constantly cluttering up my workbench, I decided it was time to come up with a better storage solution. Tools like my digital pressure gauge, air blow gun, and other small pneumatic accessories always seemed to end up buried under something else. Normally I would just mount holders on the wall, but working out of half of a one-car garage means wall space is already completely occupied by other tools and storage.
Then it hit me — there was plenty of unused space directly on the air compressor itself.
So I designed this magnetic compressor tool holder and printed it on my 3D printer. The holder uses 1-7/8" block magnets, which I happened to already have from a Storehouse magnet assortment purchased at Harbor Freight (see link https://www.harborfreight.com/ceramic-magnet-assortment-16-piece-58066.html). From what I can tell, these are fairly standard-sized magnets that can also be found online through places like Amazon.
