Summaryive just recently gotten a lathe an mill so ive been making as many of the tools that i can cause this stuff isn't cheap. i made one that attaches to the spindle of my mill https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5932599 but i really wanted one of the magnetic bases an after looking into how they are made an looking through the magnets i had on hand i ended up making this an as for the base its self i got it on the first try as far as the position of the magnet an the where it sits in the base. i ended up printing it at .3 layer height and it was on a machine that is faster so tolerences isn't as good as some of my other machines so i had to sand the round part an i had to sand down the nut that holds the arm on top so it didnt protrude, if u have threaded inserts that is probrobably the best option an i will be doing the same eventually but the one picture just uses a counter sunk m3x16 bolt an nut, the arms are the same as what i had used for the other holder except ive adde
