Magnetic Frame

Wall mounted frame designed to hold large maps & other things I wanted to display without buying a lot of frames. Has a minimalist design, showing only the magnets which hold the item to be displayed in place.

Frame was designed for items sized ~60x42 cm. Can be scaled to your needs simply by editing the arm length in a CAD program. There is only one file for the arm. Simply print it four times.

Has small holes for nails to secure it to the wall, or can be hung on existing nails.

Requires 8 magnets per frame (4 glued to the frame, 4 on the outside of the item to be attached.
This version is designed to work with magnets 6mm in diameter by 3mm thick. This size magnet gets the job done (barely). I will also create a new version which can hold slightly larger (stronger) magnets.
