My garden shed has a lock as you would expect.
* I wanted the key to be easily spotted in case it fell in the grass: I chose a bright orange color.
* I was looking for a way to store it inside my house without having to hang it on a nail: since the door leading to the garden is made of reinforced steel, the key now sticks to it thanks to two 5x1.5mm magnets (one one each side).
* I was looking for a better leverage effect, especially for my old mom who sometimes has difficulties handling small objects: the head is wider and easier to manipulate.
It is made for my key and I don't know how standard it is. You can find the dimensions in the pictures section.
The two parts are easily aligned and fitted thanks to the slots and pikes that help assemble the cover. I used a couple drops of cyanolite glue to make it stick together.
