Magnetic Label Plate (Customizable)

If you're like me, you like to have things labeled, but tend to change your mind or reorganize occasionally and have to relabel everything. These allow you to create labels of any size that can be shuffled around as needed when you decide to move things around. Great for use on metal shelving, filing cabinets, tool boxes or any other metal surface that needs labels. Use permanent markers, vinyl or a label printer to mark them.

Magnet size is customizable as well! Don't go out and buy specific magnets. Use what you have laying around. They do have to be round magnets, though. There is a tolerance option to adjust for your specific printer and desired fit. I find that the default 0.25 settting works well for press fitting the magnet depending on your printer.

This is a customizable model that can either be downloaded and modified within OpenSCAD or modified using the Thingiverse Customizer. I have included one STL file of a 2.5in x 0.5in plate using a 6mmx3mm magnet as an example.
