I have been interested in modifying my FLSunQQ-S with LED's for a while, but I had been procrastinating for months because I didn't want to pull the printer base apart. However, finally I grabbed the loose wires that have been having wildly around my printer and set them up and everything worked but now I had a remote to control them just lying around.
So I decided to design a holder for the remote that sits on the edge of the top of the printer. There's a hole in the bottom part of the design (the extended bar w/ writing) to place a small 8mm diameter neodymium magnet (2.9mm height). The magnets can be purchased at Harbor Freight or Home Depot for less than $3. I place one magnet in the design and another under the top of the printer, and this holds the design in place.
I printed mine w/ Matterhackers Metallic Green HTPLA on its side, but it can be printed w/ regular PLA or PETG. Supports will be needed to support the inner walls and letters.
