Magnetic Music Box [Platform]

A music box for the kids.

There are a number of certainly very nice music players for kids out there which allow them to place a little figurine on top to automatically start playing a tune or an audiobook. That's what I was aiming for, except fully customizable, and without the need to connect to wifis, clouds or the like.
We are travelers, so the system should work everywhere - my 2y/o already complains enough about Internet quality on overland trips - and ideally store more books on fewer figurines. I'm sure my kids would be able to use a regular USB stick, but hey, there's a 3D printer in the house.

I went for a simple USB mp3 player, a handful of adapters, some USB-C magnetic contacts to connect the figurines, and USB-C memory sticks (which are still only available with regular USB on the other side).
